The first two clips are french barrettes. I've shown a larger size and a smaller size. French barrettes are normally for older girls or girls with thick hair. Some people also use them on the younger children because they're harder to pull out of hair. The second picture shows an alligator clip. Alligator clips are great for younger children and children with thin hair.
